Maintaining Yourself and Your Business

APDO will be hosting our very first ‘roadshow’ events in 2025, visiting Edinburgh and London. Come and spend the day with us to learn how to maintain yourself and your business, getting insights in to methods to grow and protect your business wherever you are on your journey, and learning to look after yourself with self care as an organiser.

  • Have you thought what would happen if something happened to you – how would your business continue or what process do you have in place for closing up?
  • Need advice on building your client base?
  • Would you like guidance on if your Terms and Conditions are legally binding?
  • Feeling overwhelmed or exhausted? Allow our wellbeing sessions to teach you some self help to reduce the risk of burnout – our biggest risk as an organiser!
Schedule

The day will run from 9am till 5.30pm. Details of the sessions and speakers will be added soon.

Socials
Drinks - 6pm

After the roadshow finishes we will be hosting a drinks gathering near the roadshow location. More details will be confirmed nearer the time. Please indicate when booking your ticket whether you would be interested in attending.

Meal - 7.30pm

After each roadshow there wll be the opportunity to join fellow APDO members for a meal. The cost of tickets will be £35 for two courses. Details of the venues will be confirmed shortly.

 

Terms and Conditions

Delegates should be 18 years or over. All ticket prices are inclusive of 20% VAT.

If you have any specific requirements to make your time at the roadshow more comfortable, please contact the [email protected] - before purchasing your ticket to ensure that we can facilitate your request sufficiently. 

Members of the following organisations will also qualify for APDO Membership Ticket Rates: ANPOP, AOPE, FFPO, FAPO, ICD, JALO, KAPO, NAPO, NBPO, CALO, APOI and POC. APDO

Cancellation Policy: Tickets are non-refundable but can be transfered between dates if necessary for an administration fee of £40 (inclusive of 20% VAT) up to the 20th April.

APDO reserves the right to change details of the conference programme and speakers if necessary.
