Hi, I’m Amanda, a Professional Organiser & Declutterer based in Lancashire, I offer both in person and virtual sessions.

Clutter can feel like a constant to-do list, demanding your attention and causing stress. I enjoy the sense of calm I feel when I am not surrounded by clutter and it is always a privilege to be invited to work with clients in their homes and help them to achieve the same sense of calm.

I often work with clients who are neurodivergent (my husband and son have ADHD) and I love finding solutions that will work for them. I have also completed Sarah Bickers "ADHD for organisers" course.

Alongside working with my own clients, I also help my husband to run the admin side of his business. This is an area I can also help my clients with.

The services I provide will be guided by you. We will work at your pace and you will be in control of your belongings. I offer non judgemental guidance to help you fight the overwhelm by decluttering and organising problem areas in your home.

As well as being a Professional Organiser, I am also the current Membership Director for APDO (Association of Professional Declutterers and Organisers). I love pilates, my allotment, baking sourdough and travelling.

I offer a free 30-minute no-obligation consultation for you to discuss what you would like help with so we can plan the way forward. I usually recommend we do this by phone or video call

Sessions are one-to-one in your home (or business). Virtual sessions are also available if you are further away or would like some ongoing support.

If you feel ready for change and would like to reclaim your space and time, I’d love to hear from you.

Services include (but are not limited to)

General decluttering and organising.

Together we will look at your space and I will help you make decisions about which items you may want to declutter. I will then help you to organise your items to make the most of the space you have, and help you put systems in place to keep it organised. Together we can tackle small areas like cupboards / wardrobes or whole rooms depending on what you need. I can help with advice on storage solutions if needed and I work closely with my husband who is a handyman if bespoke storage is required.

Virtual sessions

You can book a virtual session if you are not in my area and I can help you declutter and organise via video call.

Home moves and life changes

If you are moving home and need help organising & packing your items ready to move I can help with this. You may also wish to use my services when dealing with a home after a birth or a bereavement or maybe a loved one is downsizing and needs help to declutter and move. Contact me for a free consultation.

Specialisms

ADHD

I have completed Sarah Bickers "ADHD for Organisers" course.

My own household is 50% ADHD (my eldest son and my husband) and I regularly work with neurodivergent clients.

Getting help with sorting out a very cluttered space was easily some of the wisest money I’ve spent! I’m only sorry I put it off for so long. Amanda makes the whole process extremely accessible and surprisingly - a lot more gentle than I had anticipated. This is not a “one size fits all” approach. Nor will she push you to part with anything you’re not ready to. Instead I felt very listened too and had a very bespoke experience. I now have a wonderful space to use as an artist and it’s a very freeing process. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Professional Organised again.
Amanda is wonderful, I highly recommend her services. She’s practical, thoughtful and a guiding light keeping me on track sorting my decluttering. I feel such a weight is lifted every time she works with me. Even if you think you’re good at organising, there is so much value in having some help, and I strongly recommend you speak to Amanda and see how she can help. Thank you so much
I wish I'd found Amanda years ago, she's had such a positive impact on my life. Having been recently diagnosed with ADHD and having to move house, my stress levels were through the roof. I was simply frozen not knowing where or how to start. Along came Amanda, and it feels like she saved my life! Two sessions in, she's got me to a place where I can now contemplate being ready for 'the move' . She also took 2 car loads to charity, got me organised with a shredding guy...she's a mine of good practical info and has a good understanding of the neurodiverse brain. She's great to work with and I cannot recommend her highly enough. There aren't enough stars in the universe to give her actually.
