Cornelia came into my life from March 2021 to help move me out of my large Jacobean house and to prepare my estate for sale. I wanted to move into something smaller and more manageable but fundamentally felt like mine. My mother-in-law had lived in this three story house since 1941 and I took up residence in 1967. Over time we had accumulated a vast amount of beautiful antiques. The thought of going through every item in the house was overwhelming. Cornelia worked systematically whilst organising the sale of items in the house. She had a warm and caring manner that was invaluable given the emotion of moving from my family estate. Cornelia corresponded efficiently and concisely between Sothebys, Cheffins, trustees, removal companies and my family. The size of this job was immense but nothing deterred Cornelia from arriving punctually every day from London. Curtains, linen, clothes, hats were all quality checked and either sold through Cornelia's contacts, kept, or passed on to my granddaughters. Antiques were valued and organised by Cornelia's colleague John Foster. We left the estate at the end of May 2021 we had two weeks to get out of the big house and I arrived in my cottage and all the furniture was placed and my bed made! In my new cottage Cornelia organised electricians, decorators, carpet fitters and for some of my old curtains that I loved to be resized as well as new ones. My family and I could not have done without her for one second, we all love her. Mary J (Hertfordshire)
While we were away in Canada, Cornelia took charge of our move into our London house. This included working with us on the choices of colours, fabrics and furniture before we left so when we returned after six weeks, we were able to just move in without having to make up a bed or go without a kitchen utensil, she had even organised a Tesco delivery so there was food in the fridge and washing up powder ready for the holiday washing. The whole experience was a complete pleasure and the house looks amazing too, Cornelia’s taste is as excellent as her organisational skills. Liza D (Mayfair)
Cornelia helped me when I was in a terrible muddle. I had a storage unit full of office files going back years, and the contents of my flat from more than a decade. She went into my space and re-organised it all, helping me to discard and sort and make the space easy to access and operate in the future. She was swift and cheerful and made the whole difficult task almost fun. I would never have even started it without her. Amanda R (Fulham)
