Specialisms

Hoarding behaviour

I have worked with several clients with Hoarding Behaviours, and I am very sensitive that a different approach is needed to compared to other clients.

I completed the "Chronic Disorganisation" training in 2024 by Hoarding Disorders UK.  The course has brought me more awareness and understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by people suffering with Chronic Disorder and Hoarding Disorders.

ADHD

I have completed the "ADHD for Professional Organisers" training programme in 2024, run by ADHD expert, Sarah Bickers.  This course gave me a more in depth understanding  of the unique needs and challenges faced by clients with ADHD.

Every client is different, and there is no fixed single approach that will work for everyone. So I bring an open mind and a broad skill set to meet my clients where they are, and help them move forward.  My approach is always to support clients with exploring how they work best and finding whatever solutions will work for them in the long-term.

I have several clients with ADHD and we find that regular sessions are particularly effective as the more I get to know a client, the better I understand what works for them and what doesn't. I have helped with simplifying filing systems for paperwork so that it doesn't become overwhelming, organising belongings in a very visual way and removing physical barriers to putting things away.

From chaos to order! Dani has painlessly reorganised my attic to be a useful space again and recycled much of the clutter. A brilliant transformation! Jim, Horley
Dani has been a life savour! Her energy, enthusiasm and support was invaluable and we achieved so much in the day she was with me. Dani was versatile, adaptive and helped me with my decluttering before my house move. Thank you! Lucy, London
Dani is brilliant! I still can’t believe we got through 20 years of clutter in a day and I now have a useable room again. Also love the fact that we created minimal landfill and I know everything which can be rehomed is going to be reused. Becca, Caterham
