I'm Georgina, an award winning Professional Organiser. I am the owner of For the Love of Tidying which is based in the High Peak. I also run Decluttering & Organising for Busy People on Facebook, a group where you can gain support, inspiration and advice for free!

I am a mum of 2 small children, 2 dogs and a very busy household. I have been extremely organised for as long as I can remember but when children came on the scene my life turned upside down as I am sure it does with many!

After being a secondary school teacher for over 20 years coaching young people, ensuring progress and being super organised is my thing! I work with people of all ages, backgrounds and family set-up helping them through whatever situation they find themselves in. I love working with families and like to get the children involved in the process, it gives them responsibility for their things and also helps them maintain the order in their rooms.

With For the Love of Tidying I can combine all my skills and previous experience to help you achieve the home you desire.

I have qualifications that range from a Distinction in a Professional Decluttering & Organising Business Diploma through to ADHD and Organising, Hoarding Awareness and Grief & Bereavement Counselling, hopefully supporting a wide range of people through the causes and effects of clutter.

I have also created an e-book called 'The Procrastinator's Guide to a Clutter Free Home' You can find out more about this on my website.

I will support you struggling with your clutter in as many ways as I can, whether this is 1:1 in your home, through my Facebook group 'Decluttering & Organising for Busy People', or by supporting you in my membership Cluttered to Calm, supporting your decluttering and well-being simultaneously.

Specialisms

Public Speaking

I currently offer decluttering workshops at a mental health drop-in centre in Buxton. I have slso spoken at the Clean & Tidy Home Show and soon to speak at the Ideal Home Show. 

I am happy to offer workshops and presentations anywhere within a 45-minute drive from SK22. Please get in touch if you think I can help.


Move Management
I support clients through the whole moving process, from reducing your items to supporting you through packing and transit, to unpacking in your new home and ensuring a highly organised and efficient layout. Within this I also offer a 'research and purchase' service where I find and procure the perfect storage items for your new home.


ADHD
I have worked with a wide range of clients, including those with ADHD and Autism. I have also successfully completed an 'ADHD for Organisers' course. I have a wide range of skills and ideas to not only help all types of clients, but also to empower you and give you the skills and confidence to continue after your session(s) with me.


Interior Design
My BSc(Hons) degree is in Design. I have taught Design and Technology throughout my teaching career. I have an eye for design and enjoy creating beautiful spaces!


Hoarding behaviour

I have worked with clients with all clutter levels, clearing rooms with clutter reaching the ceiling... there is no job too large! 

I very rarely hire skips. Most items are donated (I will fill my car/van each session and take donations away) or recycled. We will work through each item together, I will support you in making the right decision for you...I will never make a decision for you. We will work at your speed making you feel comfortable throughout the whole process.

Sorting paperwork is a job I dread. Then along came Georgina and somehow made it fun. Her energy and enthusiasm for the service she offers turned 3 hours into a satisfying and pleasant experience.
In only three hours she absolutely transformed my kitchen; I couldn't believe how much of a difference she made. Georgina also made the entire process fun and enjoyable. I would highly recommend!
