Snowdrop Organising
United Kingdom

Hello, I'm Jenny. Thank you for taking the time to view my profile. I hope to be of service to you!

A little about myself and my business, Snowdrop Organising:

As one of the first flowers of spring, snowdrops often symbolise new beginnings, hope, re-birth and the ability to overcome challenges. Through my work, I aim to use my decluttering and organising skills to bring about positive change in people's lives, lifting the physical and emotional burdens that disorganisation and clutter can bring.

I aim to provide a bespoke, non-judgemental and kind approach to reorganising physical spaces, and equally importantly, assisting those feeling overwhelmed by life changes or home moves/downsizing.

My previous role as a funeral arranger has given me insight into the challenges faced by the bereaved. So many families feel overwhelmed by the task of sorting through their loved-one's possessions. I can give you the time, patience and sensitivity you need to guide you through this difficult process. I have also worked with many clients of a senior generation, who are downsizing in order to move into retirement accommodation, and fully understand the practical and emotional challenges this can bring.

Since becoming a mum, building a business and undertaking several volunteering roles I can honestly say I now fully understand the complexities of family life, and the stresses it can bring. I have had to employ strategies and systems to allow me to juggle life's demands. Now let me share some of those strategies with you.

The services I offer include:

* Re-organisation of specific areas within the home (for example: kitchens, sheds, storage areas, children's play rooms), including sourcing appropriate storage solutions.

* Step-by-step overhaul of a complete home. Over period of time, I can help you systemise and declutter the entire way you live.

* Support throughout the process of moving home; downsizing belongings, floor planning, administration pre and post-move.

* Post-bereavement care - helping you with the difficult and emotional task of letting go of your loved-one's belongings, when you feel ready. Including finding new homes to re-love these items where appropriate.

* Sustainable living solutions - advice and ideas on up-cycling and re-purposing items that you may already own, and using these to provide alternative storage solutions. In addition, suggesting a local network of charities and organisations in need of donations of specific items.

* Re-staging your home for the purposes of a sale, or after a life change - I can help you to display your current furniture possessions in the most favourable way possible, giving your home a new lease of life.

* Other organising services - There are never enough hours in the day - right?! Perhaps you need help to plan a hen do, your child's birthday party, a family gathering or business trip? After a consultation, I can schedule, book and organise everything for you, meaning all you need to do is just turn up!

Feel free to contact me to arrange your free 30 minute consultation.

Please just reach out, and we can take the first steps, always at a pace dictated by you.

Move Management

Senior Move Manager with The Senior Moves Partnership

Jenny's calm, collected manner together with an ability to see what needed to be done when things felt overwhelming was something I really appreciated. She could bring order to the chaos that preceded an event - juggling many different balls. I think though that her super power is her compassion and empathy; her care and humility. She puts you at ease and you quickly become comfortable in her company.
“Jenny is an amazing young woman with the ability to reassure my wife and I at every stage of our journey from our bungalow to our new home in a Retirement Apartment. The downsizing was enormous but with Jenny’s help with the disposal of unwanted items it gradually became possible. The first day in our apartment we found that the removal men had packed a couple of boxes of items that were meant for the charity shop. A call to Jenny and a reassurance not to worry I’ll sort it. She arrived soon after and quickly removed the unwanted items. Problem sorted. Nothing seemed to phase Jenny. The professionals and charities she works with were excellent and 100% supportive of her.”
“An elderly friend of mine moved recently from her much-loved home, where she had lived for over thirty years, to an apartment to be close to her son. Jenny helped with the logistics and proved to be a tower of strength. Throughout, she was organised, efficient, utterly reliable, and sensitive to my friend’s feelings and wishes. Her kind and reassuring words and calm manner were a great help at what was inevitably a stressful time.”
