Hello, I’m Josie Judge, owner of The Home PA Company.
Having started my career in journalism and then gone on to work in communications and in more recent years worked in property, I started The Home PA Company to bring together the skills I’ve acquired and the things I love to do whilst also addressing the fact that so many of us can do with a helping hand at home from time to time.
I am happiest when busy and love that sense of achievement I get after making a room look beautiful, organising cupboards and wardrobes or putting the final touches to a special occasion. I love variety in life and this job is so fulfilling in that sense because I meet different people all the time and their homes and needs are always unique.
Organising and decluttering are so crucial to a happy and balanced home life and all too often people just don’t know where to start. These tasks take time, planning and energy and they are often not in great abundance by the time we have finished working, looking after the family, doing the shopping, school runs and all the other demands on our precious time. I am here to take the load off a bit and give peace of mind that tasks are getting done whilst my clients are getting on with their day and doing the things that they enjoy.
I have lived overseas, love my family and pets, socialising, cooking, travelling, fitness, have a keen interest in property, current affairs, business and generally have a love of life so my experience comes in handy for my clients when they contact me at The Home PA Company.
I am based in Hertfordshire and work here plus London, Essex, Cambridge and surrounding areas.
Josie is possibly the most organised and unflappable person I've ever met. She really cares about your home as if it's her own and makes you feel as though you've met a friend for life!
It is so nice to know where everything is in my wardrobes and be able to see my clothes clearly since Josie reorganised for us. It has saved me a lot of time and stress in the mornings when I'm getting ready for work.
I don't find it easy to part with things but I knew it was time to declutter before moving to a smaller house. Josie was very kind and empathetic when it came to sorting out sentimental items and she took her time carefully creating keepsake boxes for myself and my children as well as helping me to decide what I no longer needed. I'm actually much happier not having so much stuff around and so is my husband!
