Tidy Happy Calm

• Do you feel utterly paralysed by your clutter?
• Are you overwhelmed by the amount you have?
• Are you frozen by not knowing how to sustainably get rid of it all?

If too much ‘stuff’ is stopping you from living the life you want to lead, connecting with the people you love, or being active in the areas that matter to you then it’s time to take action.

Tidy Happy Calm sustainable declutter coaching will free you from clutter and disorganisation in a responsible and sustainable way, giving you the space and time to focus on what matters to you most.

Whether you need one-to-one in-person support in your home, online declutter project planning sessions, regular accountability check-ins, or bespoke organisational strategies, I will coach and guide you to a clearer, calmer life.

What is sustainable decluttering?

Sustainable decluttering doesn’t just focus on where and how you can recycle or rehome your unwanted items (though of course this does play a big part in the process!). It is about using what you already have to hep you get organised, it is about evolving your mindset to help you avoid future clutter, and it is about thinking about the bigger picture of the positive impact you could be making in life with less stuff weighing you down.

Compassion is key

Compassion is at the core of how I work with my clients – listening to the unique set of challenges you might be faced with, and taking a whole-person approach to help you move forward. And since there is no ‘perfect’ way to declutter without making an impact on the environment, being kind and compassionate to yourself is just as important as having compassion for our environment.

Judgment-free support

It can feel scary inviting someone into your home and showing them your clutter, but you can trust my complete confidentiality and judgement-free approach to put you at ease and help you move forward.

No one wishes they could spend more of their life moving piles of clutter from place to place around their home! So, the time to make a change is now. Get in touch for a free no-obligation consultation call to see how I can help you.

Locations covered

I am based in Cheshunt in Hertfordshire, and carry out in-person work with clients across the county, into greater London, Bedfordshire and Essex.

Online coaching support

If you live a bit further afield but feel that I'm the right declutter coach for you, I also offer online declutter coaching.

This can be tailored to suit your needs, and so might involve me coaching you through the decluttering process via Zoom while you do the physical sorting. Or you might prefer to have regular calls (phone or Zoom) to discuss any challenges or barriers you're coming up against while decluttering in your own time, and come up with strategies and tactical plans to help you achieve your goals. Or this might just be accountability check-ins and body-doubling calls to help you stay motivated and on track.

If you want to find out more about how this could work, just drop me a line to arrange a free no obligation call for us to chat through the options.

Specialisms

ADHD

I have completed Sarah Bickers' of "Find Your Space" ADHD for Professional Organisers training programme to help me understand more about the unique needs and challenges faced by my clients with ADHD.

Every client is of course different, and there is no fixed single approach that will work for everyone. So I bring an open mind and a broad skill set to meet my clients where they are and help them move forward.

Kate has perfected the rare art of listening to people. She encourages you to share with her all your issues with clutter, and then offers practical, step-by-step advice as to how to deal with it.
I was so anxious at the thought of someone seeing all my clutter, but I was set totally at ease with Kate's easy demeanour and totally non-judgemental eye. Thanks to Kate the weight of so much superfluous ‘stuff’ has been lifted off my shoulders and I can see how to move on with my journey now.
I have ADHD and as a result my house is extremely cluttered and chaotic, but when I found Kate she was so calm and seems completely unfazed by the task ahead. She is extremely patient, non-judgemental and doesn’t push you in to making decisions that you will regret. However, she is quietly assertive and keeps you focused on the task ahead.
