Pauline Webb. Professional Organiser

Much of our life is spent working and not having enough time to spend doing what we love, with who we love.

Maybe you have parents or older relatives who are struggling a bit more these days, but as one of the 'sandwich' generation, you just don't seem to have the time or energy to to help them while bringing up your own family. Are they perhaps ready to start letting go of things with a view to downsizing or perhaps moving closer to you, but don't know where to start? Have you had that conversation with them?

Or is it you that feels like that?

Do you wake up with that recurring feeling that there is so much that needs to be done in your home, letting go of possessions that no longer serve you and reclaiming the space so that it really works for you and who you are now.

How much calmer could your life look, if you or your loved ones, had the patience and understanding of someone who could be there while making those sometimes tough decisions as to what to keep and what to let go?

I am a Professional DeClutterer and Home Organiser based in Nottingham in the East Midlands.

I know just what it is like to have supported my parents to downsize.

I actively encourage ‘The Gentle Art of Swedish Death Cleaning’ which is the concept based on the book by Margareta Magnusson, of gradually sorting your possessions so as not to leave a big job for our friends and family to cope with when we are gone! I wished that I'd been able to do more for my Mum in particular when she was alone and would have loved her to have had that support.

I have however, supported many people to live with fewer possessions and make the very best of the space in their home.

We could work on creating a wardrobe full of 'only' the clothes that you love and can wear!

Imagine making a meal in a fabulously clean and functional kitchen, immediately knowing what's there and where to find it!

You can have the spare room exactly as you need it to be, whether that's for your favourite hobby, or just being able to say 'stay the night' to a friend, knowing that it is made up and ready!

This is my passion! I am a fully insured, DBS checked and ready to have a FREE No Obligation Chat about how I can support you to transform your lifestyle! I look forward to hearing from you soon!! I love working face to face but I have successfully supported clients online and on the ‘phone so let’s find a way that works for you.

Travel of up to a 10 mile radius of my home is included in my rates, though I am happy to travel further and come to an agreement on that so do please ask!

Move Management

My experience in supporting people to downsize, both on a personal and professional level, has led me to a big understanding of how it feels to have to let go of a certain amount of possessions and how hard that decision making can be.

While I am not connected to any large organisations I have empathy, and ideas which will enable you with my help to reduce your belongings without having to let all the precious stuff go.

I also offer an unpacking and organising service, for as long as you would like, to get your new home just as you want it to be, a true reflection of you.

Personal/family productivity

I am a trained Chef working for 30 years in the catering and hospitality industry and I also trained and worked for 9 years as a Nutrition Worker with the Public Health Team in Nottingham where I also gained my teaching qualification.

I offer add on sessions, when supporting someone declutter and organise their kitchen. Planning meals, writing shopping lists and understanding food storage can save heaps of time, anguish and money by reducing waste and could even have physical health benefits! Please ask me more about this!

Pauline offers a wonderful service! I had no idea how to start. After 3 hours a miracle had taken place. My clothes were now sorted. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone who needs help. Lyn
Pauline’s organising talents were invaluable to me. I moved into a new home recently and appreciated Pauline’s capable manner as she worked with me to make an orderly home which I am very happy with. Beverley
The day I phoned Pauline  I found a treasure.  My health was poor, and I was intending to downsize to live in a one bedroom apartment. I lived alone.  My motivation to declutter was very low and I felt overwhelmed.   In Pauline I found a warm kind professional lady willing to quietly help me along my journey of decluttering.  I had a lot of photographs, albums , music and books and I loved them.   … but there were far far too many! Pauline has gently challenged me to part with some of my stuff no longer needed. We had some good laughs and I have become better at doing this myself. Pauline always had a thought line about sharing unwanted items and she had her own links to other caring groups. With my agreement, at the end of sessions, she would often take armfuls of stuff to her favourite charities where she knew bedding clothing etc would be appreciated. I could hardly believe that I found myself looking forward to our decluttering sessions. ! As my date of moving house loomed nearer Pauline stayed along side me. I discovered Pauline had many skills to draw on and she  continues to attend learning conferences with other “declutterers .” Pauline was such a wonderful help…. Right through to removal day. I have now moved in,  amazingly emptying my house, with Pauline’s help. Thank you Pauline for your steady gentle encouragement. You have become a very special part of my life. I have survived a house move with your help, and my health is much better. I would recommend anyone looking to declutter to give Pauline a ring.   I hope you find decluttering with her such a helpful experience as I have . Sue
