About Me
I love organising and always have! As a working mum of 3 I have always had to be organised...it's the only way to survive and stay sane! Our lives are now so busy but I firmly believe having a calm, organised and efficient household is the cornerstone of positive wellbeing and happiness. And it's really true...when things are in order you have more time to spend on the things you love.
My career of over 20 years working with private clients and small businesses has always been about helping people save time. Having run a leading recruitment company recruiting domestic staff from Butlers to Housekeepers for High Net Worth families, I have always understood how private households work and oh boy have I seen some wardrobes! For many years I worked supporting working parents, and those relocating, in finding childcare and schools and have seen first hand how it impacts wellbeing when the mental load is simply too great. And working as an Executive Assistant supporting business owners developing systems, coping with administration, and allowing them time to grow their business gives me great satisfaction. However, it was only after planning a family relocation and decluttering the house ready for sale that I had my lightbulb moment... By combining my passion of organising, working with private clients and saving people time, the Organised Zone was created!

Digital/computer organisation
As with business and personal productivity I also like to help clients sort their digital life. Whether it be email management, diary organisation, digital photos and back up I support clients in systems to ensure their life admin is no longer stressful.
Move Management
Since my own family relocation across the UK and understanding the effort and stress first hand, I have been passionate about helping people move home. I have been there and know real life pain points during the process but I help take some of the stress away. Imagine moving into your home, with all the unpacking taken care of with organised cupboards from day one - it really is possible!
In 2022 I was invited to become a Senior Move Manager with the Senior Move Partnership and have been supporting clients downsizing and moving home ever since. Helping clients who are downsizing whether it be from a large family home where they have resided for many years, or helping a senior move after a bereavement requires great skill and empathy.
I help clients with pre-move decluttering and donation of possessions, floor planning, preparing furniture inventories, liaising with removals, general support, knowledge and guidance plus move day unpacking to ensure a home is set up and organised from day one!
I always receive the loveliest feedback.

Personal/family productivity
I firmly believe everyone can have an organised home but it doesn't come easily to most (myself included!) But an organised home is possible with the right systems, plans and habits. I like to work with clients to ensure their homes, and lives are efficient and as streamlined as can be - and stay that way (or at least are easy to reset!) There is of course not one size fits all and working with clients on a 1-2-1 basis I help find the right solutions for them, their family and household.
In particular helping individuals or families sort their life admin is one of the cornerstones to ensure the home runs smoothly - I love supporting clients to sort paperwork and set up systems that work for them, whether they be paper based or using the latest project management tools and apps.

Business/work productivity
Having worked in and led small business for over 20 years, I have real hands on experience of ensuring maximum efficiency and productivity within a work place. Working closely with business owners, I have proven results in improving efficiency in businesses to impact their bottom line.
I really am passionate about productivity, always looking to improve processes through the use of new systems and habits.
I am delighted to be part of the organising committee for the APDO Productivity SIG (Special Interest Group) leading on topics such as procrastination, overwhelm, life admin and AI.
