Working with clients: Effective listening

Research shows that clients want to be heard rather than advised or instructed, even if they don’t say so.* Truly understanding what your client is saying is one of the foundations of a successful PO business.

This course will help you:

  • develop your listening skills
  • develop effective, ongoing client relationships
  • tailor your approach to working successfully with clients

This is a live and lively small group course with a maximum of 10 participants. We use discussion, small break-out room exercises and Q&A to help you understand, experience, and practise the true power of listening and responding in everyday conversations with clients.

This course is facilitated by two experienced trainers from the Association of Professional Declutterers and Organisers (APDO). It is open to APDO members and non-members and is held virtually over two sessions. It is suitable for POs at any stage in their career.

When booking the course, you can choose to receive a welcome pack and workbook in the post or a digital workbook sent via email to help you take notes and reflect on your learning. Whichever you choose, they will be sent to you in the week leading up to your course.

Please ensure you read the Terms and Conditions before booking.
